Ethics and excuses

Gerald N. Izenberg

pp. 201-208

Abstrakt

The question of Freud's impact on modern morality and contemporary world views can include two separate things. One is the problem of the ethical and philosophical implications of psychoanalytic theory, which requires an internal, conceptual analysis. The other is the issue of Freud's actual influence on empirical social beliefs and practices, which demands historical analysis.
