Neurological development and the growth of psychological functions

Colwyn Trevarthen

pp. 46-95

Abstrakt

In this chapter I will try to show how knowledge about growth of the brain is increasingly important for psychology. I will take up-to-date ideas of brain embryology, and see if they will fit a working picture of what seems to be the essential strategy of human mental growth.
