Designing an equal opportunities policy framework — a cybernetic perspective
pp. 215-220
Abstrakt
The United Kingdom has perhaps never needed a Systems Society as much as it does now. Public policy-making is dominated by the supposed efficacy of the "free market" in delivering the "goods". The challenge to cybernetics and systems science is to demonstrate the flaws in such a philosophy and, at the same time, show how "market forces' can best be harnessed to the public good.
