A hybrid lab for evaluation of analog asics
pp. 102-105
Abstrakt
Laboratories are collections of experiments. We differentiate virtual (simulations) and remote (control of real hardware) experiments. In this work we present an analog ASIC design and test system. The software for the creation, verification and possible simulation of designs and downloading them to the hardware device is running on an Application Server. In this way the user can remotely download the desired circuit design to the device. He can than interact with this programmable hardware via the Internet by setting the parameters of the circuit input (waveform, frequency, amplitude, offset). After the parameters have been set the user can read the circuit output and compare the output signals with the input waveform signal on a virtual instrument on his client PC.
