A teacher education researcher examines the Wertsch and Kazak analysis of segments of the Lehrer/Schauble video case, explaining how these contributions, used together, could have considerable value for helping promote deep and meaningful discussions with educators about important goals for education, the learning process, pedagogy, and assessment.
