Wittgenstein — ethics and the "wonderful life"

Knut Erik Tranøy

pp. 273-279

Abstrakt

In 1981 I wrote a paper about Wittgenstein and the ethics of science.1 The present paper is meant to be a broadening and deepening of the perspectives of the 1981 paper, a reevaluation but no recantation. My primary concern is with certain problems which can hardly fail to engage a moral philosopher working in the field of science ethics in general and medical ethics in particular.
